Veteran of the Regiment Posts: 978 (06/08/09 21:51:20) Hitch Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None My new bride has expressed serious interest in shooting.....and has been coveting my Martinis......ahhh, says I, start her with the .22 Greener rook rifle to sucker her in, then let her shoot the big .303 and that will cure her of wanting any of my Martinis Like they say, the best laid plans of mice and men She started off with the little Greener. Within a few minutes, was picking off clay pidgeons, never missing a shot, at 125 yards with open sights. Ahhhh, now the .303. Big mistake. She loved it. Now she wants it..........anyone got a nice .303 Martini rifle for sale? I need another one. Yep, the little 5'1" red headed Newfoundlander is now a true Martini-a-holic. All the Best to you both. Second... it's clear that, if you want Martini exclusivity at this point, you're going to have to graduate to the 577/450. Then again, upping the ante doesn't seem to have discouraged her... maybe she'll go for the 450s, and leave the "big" .303s to you. I think you're gonna need his-n-hers gunsafes! Veteran of the Regiment Posts: 979 (06/09/09 08:32:49) Hitch Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I mentioned it briefly in another thread, but to all the crew, I found a wonderful woman who shares all of my hopes and dreams, not to mention a love of Martini rifles. The lovely lady in the video is Tammy Hynes-Brown, a school tacher, formerly of Renews, Newfoundland......a little fishhing villiage of 400 people on the southern shore of the Avalon Peninsula. We had a small civil ceremony here in California, but the huge family wedding will be July 3rd in Newfoundland. If any of the crew is from the Rock or will be in the area.......you are more than welcome to stop by and partake in the party......lasting a usual two to three days, as do most Newfoundland weddings. How can I shoot it if I can't see it?

So it looks like I will just have to be happy with the Sht lee as my .303, at least my snider is safe! Oh yes and by the way congratulations have a drink for me. How can I shoot it if I can't see it?
