They list a lot of current inert rounds. The largest on their list in Gunmart is .454 Casull which is quite modern. Failing having some original .500 Revolver cartridge they should be able to get .500 S&W for those who want an example of "the largest revolver cartridge in current production" in their collection.

I got this while flicking through "The Webley Story" by Dowell. It can be found on page 272 entitled "Table X Commercial Center-fire Cartridges". In case you have to resort to turning dummy cartridges from solid here is a bit more on the dimentions of the .500 Revolver cartridge which vary slightly from those I gave you earlier.
Overall length 1.526 -- Case Length .780 -- Rim Diam. .585 -- Rim Thick. .035 -- Case Head .523 -- Case Mouth .515 -- Bullet Diam .510 -- Weight 350 grains.
Academic for us in the UK, but the citizens of free countries may be interested ; a charge 24 grains of black which gave a muzzle velocity of 650 fps.
For comparison a .500 S&W Mag. or the shorter Special, Case Length, Mag. ;1.6252 ; Special 1.295 -- Rim Diam. .580 -- Rim Thick. -- .059 -- Case Head .530 -- Case Mouth .530

Those who only want to make dummies from .500 S&W could thin the case rim from the bottom of the case head and maybe remove the modern head stamp.
