Any NDFS dies for sale? |

Yep, I'm looking for a NDFS MH die set to replace the one I cracked. If you have a set just laying around, or just the resizing die, that would be better.
This is an expensive hobby.

I have some genuine hens' teeth I'd trade you for one.
Applying WalMart expectation to antique gun dealers and gunsmiths is like pouring nitro powder down a black powder rifle, and often with similar results. |

As far as I know NDFS are still in busines. They are now called HNDFS and are now located in Newport, Shropshire rather than North Devon. The last advertisment
I can find for them was in the HBSA Report Magazine for April 2007.
About two years ago I ordered sizer dies for .577 Snider and .577-.450 Martini from them and later a shell hotder for the 11 mm Mauser. I went through three Lee shell holders before ordering a HNDFS one and now have also obtained an RCBS one. The address is PO Box 105, Newport, Shropshire, TF10 0AB, U.K. email is enquiries@hndfs.wanadoo.co.uk Gwyn Jones

Thanks for the info. I'll see what they want for a set.

They sold me individual dies. I cracked both of my Snider and Martini sizer dies and I ordered and received sizer dies only. However I still use the cracked
ones. Long ago when I bought the set of Martini dies from the original NDFS Jim Goodwin warned me that the 7/8 X 14 dies in the larger calibers should not be
used for case forming.

I tried to contact the firm, and it seems that the e-mail address is no good. Did a Google search and came up with nothing. I was told by someone on a UK site
that they are no longer in business.

Sorry about the dated information. I will send them a letter requesting a price list to see if they are still in buisiness.

I have not had a reply to my letter requesting a price list that was sent to HNDFS almost three weeks ago. I asked about them at the last weekend London
Antique Arms Fair. All those I asked were of the opinion that they had ceased trading.
When Jim Goodwin of the old NDFS retired I think he sold all the completed dies and turned cases he had on hand to Henry Krank. I wonder what has happened to all the tooling etc. now that his successors have packed it in as well? Gwyn |

Thanks for your efforts. I bought a LEE die set a couple of weeks ago--wish I had done that a lot sooner. I plan to give this set to my pal to replace the
die that I cracked, and keep order a size die only, from LEE. Wonder why some reloading suppliers have the dies on backorder for another month, and others
have them in stock, ready to ship?
