Hi all I have been in and out of the forum for a while and thought I would post pics of my MKIII I got a couple years back.
The only real question I have is what unit the rifle was assigned to? There are no stock or butt-plate markings it tell me this.
Where might I look? Perhaps the pictures will give a clue.
I would also be interested in knowing if any of the staff from the Halifax Citadel in N. S. Canada were members of the forum?
I was there last Oct. The soliders all carried Snider-Enfields and I was able to have some good conversations about the rifles.
