Just so everyone understands, this group buy is a function of British Militaria and not CBE. When the group buy is sold out Michael will submit it to CBE for
production enbloc. The custom order window for CBE is August with expected delivery in September or October direct from CBE.
Do not contact Jim Allison at CBE about the status of your order, he doesn't know as the order has not been submitted to him yet and he has nothing to do with until it has been submitted. It will not be submitted until as close to the custom order window as possible to maximize then number of moulds ordered. |

As I am having so much trouble with the Pay Pal set up as it is because it does not except my Billing address because it does not fit into the designated
formats and as I have bought from CBE before I have asked Jim to inform me when the group buy has been done so I can order direct from the catalogue at least
my card works in Australia. I am not adding on extra bank charges or western union charges for the amounts shown for the mould to transfer the cash that way.
Cheeper and easier to order direct once it is part of their offering.

It is not a gun. It is not a Weapon. It is not a firearm. It is a single cylinder single stroke internal combustion engine with a free floating piston!

Pinky,
I know about you and the issues you have being in Falklands, and you are fine. But others have gone direct to Jim Allison. That isn't how a group buy works. Jim Alison, has nothing to do with the collection of the group orders. This is what happens when people come into the deal without reading all the back ground about it or don't know what a group buy is. |

Nagant Sniper,
I've got a couple brush orders, and I'll send them out as soon as my mother goes back to Virginia, after the long weekend. As for the moulds, I'm going to close off orders on Monday. We've got a good number, which will grease the skids for future group buys. And to expound on what Douglas is saying, if you have a question, post it here, don't call CBE about it. Cheers, Michael
I've never heard anyone complain about "too much quality" in a gun, but too little will get you a trip to the ER with your spare fingers in a
baggie.

Okay, everyone, the group order is now closed at 44 moulds. I just have to wait for one e-check to clear PayPal (3-5 days) and I will make payment. We're
already in the CBE work queue for September/October and they know about how many moulds we will be ordering.
Due to fluctuations in the currency market (the AU$ is up 27% against the US dollar since I calculated the prices), the original price covers the cost of the mould, but not postage. As much as I hate to do it, I'm going to have to bill people for the added cost when CBE tells me what the total postage bill is going to be. It's probably going to be an extra $12 or so, which is still a bargain considering what great moulds these are. If this is a deal-breaker for anyone, I understand, and will process refunds as soon as funds are available. If we do another group order from CBE, I'll collect the funds in AU$ to insulate us from the effects of Obamanomics. Cheers, Michael

Hey, after going this far what's another few bucks, I want the mold and $12-15 extra is small change at this point. Looking forward to getting my hands on
this mold. Thanks for all your efforts. Stew.

Hi Michael.

PAY Special ATTENTION!!
The drawing we posted for this group buy is the cutter drawing for Jim Goodwin's bullet. This is the only drawinbg we had. The cutter in the drawing is for cutting a steel mould. Jim Allison has had to make some minor variations to allow for cutter geometry for cutting brass. The bullet produced will be the bullet designed by Jim Goodwin, but won't match the dimensions of the cutter drawing. Do not compare the cutter diemensions to a cast bullet dimensions, they won't be the same. Variations in alloys will produce minor differences. Do not contact Jim Allison with any problems concerning dimensional issues with your mould. He is working to our specifications, and we are solely responsible. The critically factors we have asked him to produce are: Alloy: 1:20 Diameter with this Alloy: .468 That alloy is 1 part tin, 20 parts lead. Any other element present will cause dimensional differences. |

Looks like I missed the boat on this one. If you have anyone back out on this buy, please let me know, and I will send payment along. Otherwise, I'll wait
until the next round, or until NDFS adds it to inventory.

NDFS will have nothing to do with this even if they do still exist. The plan is for the mould design to become part of the CBE inventory after every one in the
group by get their mould.

Sent email to Peter. I have to put in a supplemental order, because someone limped in late, and I took pity and sold off my personal mould. Will probably add
another 5, which will be completed "in the order they are received".
I spoke to Jim, and he's going to be completing the moulds a few at a time, since like the python that swallowed the pig, something this big doesn't go through the pipeline easily. Now that we have a final count and cost (sorry about the falling US $, guys, that's what happens when you prop up your entire economy by printing cash), I will try and send out bills for shipping in the next week or so. I will request the funds in AU$, if I can, to insulate us from any further drop in the exchange rate. Should have done that in the first place. Cheers, Michael Applying WalMart expectation to antique gun dealers and gunsmiths is like pouring nitro powder down a black powder rifle, and often with similar results. |

Mike,
Part of the deal with this group buy, once it is filled this mould will become standard inventory with CBE. You will be able to order it direct from them. |
