Not sure if it was the heat, (It was Warm!) but it seemed this time that no-one was rushing to do their shooting. Very laid-back approach to things! This I found rather nice, after rushing about getting ready. Still we never got the "Mad minute" shot, Or any clay pigeons!! (We Did however shoot targets for the ISSO)
Sunday morning was a bit wet for a start, so "Jawin" seemed the most popular past-time for a while!
Thanks to all for showing up, and to Linda for cooking the sat. supper. (That buffalo roast was one of the nicest roasts I've ever eaten!)
also for making the scones we ate at "tea time" ...with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
Thanks to sister Elizabeth for the cakes and 'sarneys' for a mid day snack, and my Mum for cooking the ham for the 'sarneys'.
also Thank Sarah for the pies and cakes, and for looking So elegant at the shoot, and Grant for the volley targets and range "officering" and his advise in putting the shoot together.
To his great credit, Dave managed to retain his 24th Foot tunic throughout the (Hot) day.......and looked very dashing in it!
Thanks again to all.
Richard.
Note* the results for the Provincial matches are posted under a seperate thread entitled; "Alberta shoot, Provincial match results"
