Well here's a couple pictures of my new arms, I have yet to strip and replace the odd spring and clean the innards proper, yet here they are!
The large one is chambered in what I believe is 41 or 44 cal , the smaller of the 2 is chambered slightly larger then the diameter of a standard pencil, the bores are dirty but still have strong rifling, I need to fabricate a trigger return spring on the large frame and find or fabricate a ejector lever.
The small "pocketpattern" needs a loading gate spring, the folding trigger needs a new spring or a rubber gasket perhaps to allow it to stay up when required or down when required not all loose as it presently is, it also may require the half cock to be built up and re cut as presently it only holds in full cock
Both of course need a proper cleaning, though all the repairs I previously stated, I would have no worries loading and firing either arm in their present condition as the timing on both is still proper and the steel seems unrotted.
I would be honored if some of the gentlemen here with more experience then I could perhaps give me information regarding possible dates of manufacture and mayhap even countries of origin, "though I fancy the smaller of the 2 is built later then the large frame and in belgium"
I am quite pleased!
Cheers all!
Robert
