This is my second attempt on the IMA F Pattern muskets, I think I will keept this one. It is in overall good condition and needs a few repairs, mainly some wood rot on 2 of the barrel keys. They also forgot to send the buttplate which they are sending out to me now with the correct screws. This one seems to be interesting in that it wasn't marked for the Bengal presidency like pretty much every other one I've seen. The barrel is stamped "DEAKIN" underneath so I would assume that is who made it. Bluing is about perfect under the wood line which is cool to see. The sear spring is broken so I'm going to attempt to replace it with a Rifle Shoppe P1842 spring. Bore is excellent so it should be a shooter. I'm debating how to address the wood rot.
