Ok so my Gehendra smooth bore is going to be a shooter. I have been thinking of ways to make shot shells to shoot out of this gem that will be more than your usual snake charmers. I thought of using the .45 cal Speer capsules (Blue) but the diameter was too small and they do not hold enough shot. So I came up with idea to use plastic test tubes which I bought on Ebay which have an outside diameter of .471. The test tubes sell for $6.00 for 100. The plastic is rather brittle so I am thinking the tube will shatter as soon as it leaves the muzzle. I trimmed the tubes to a manageable length and filled it with 1/2 ounce of bird shot. I trimmed the cap to reduce the overall length and it fit like a charm. (middle) This shot shell chambers easily in all three of my Martinis. I have not shot these yet but I am thinking they will make fine Grouse or Quail round. Like I said these are a prototype so any feedback will be appreciated.
