I have the holster almost finished, Gary ..... just needs a bit more "aging" to make it fully genuine ....

Odd, Grant also promised to throw in a NWMP marked holster dated 1874 with genuine Saskatchewan seal-skin bindings, but I haven't seen it yet...

Gary,

You should have seen how easy it was for me to snooker Craig out of that NZ Range Rifle. As soon as I saw his new bride was from Newfoundland all I had to do was slather it in seal oil and connect it to Newfoundland and Craig didn't have a chance.

The old man didn't get the best of me that badly, although he for sure wen away with the more valuable firearm. But there were other "considerations" beyond the guns. The reloading issue played a lesser role in my decision to part with the mkI than it did in which Martini I took in trade. And yes it was a good trade for us both, just better for him in the long run.
