I do not wish to detract from the East Coast playday thread,  but have a rather nagging concern about our Alberta shoot.

I feel I let things down a bit in the organising of events.

I have just read Michael&#39;s excellent post on events for the &quot;East coast playday&quot; and wish I had had it together more at our shoot.

My question is; 

Would anyone like to step up to organise tha actual events?

			<description><![CDATA[ The Western Contingent has definitely set the sartorial standard! Not only do you shoot well, but (best Billy Crystal imitation) you- look- MAAAHVEHLUS!

A relaxed shooting session is to be greatly envied. I think having the affair on private grounds helps the mood tremendously. No worrying about monopolizing
club facilities / getting in the way of shooters with other agendas.

			<description><![CDATA[ Although this year the numbers were down through force of circumstance, it was good to see everyone again, plus Becky, Bob, and Gary.

Not sure if it was the heat, (It was Warm!) but it seemed this time that no-one was rushing to do their shooting. Very laid-back approach to things! This I
found rather nice, after rushing about getting ready. Still we never got the &quot;Mad minute&quot; shot, Or any clay pigeons!! (We Did however shoot targets
for the ISSO)
