Just wondering if anyone could help shed some light on a WG revolver I'm looking at. It's stamped "P Webley & Son" on the barrel rib,
suggesting it was made in 1897 or earlier. But the serial number is in the 18,000's, suggesting post-1900 production. And the frame and barrel have
matched serial numbers. Anybody know how this could be?

I am new to Webleys and mostly collect US weaponry but I have an opportunity to pick up a MK VI for $500. I think it is dated 1918. Has a short barrel
(2"-3" maybe?) serialed to the frame and a 6" barrel not serialed. It has been converted to .45 acp. Comes with moon clips and two 1942 dated

This is my first post. I have had a Webley Mark IV 38, for a number of years. Ever since I picked that Webley up, I have wanted more. I just recently was
able to add a Mark V and a Mark VI. I was pretty excited. It turns out the Mark V has a broken cylinder stop spring. I'm still searching for a
replacement part. The Mark VI seems very solid to me. Both of them have had the cylinders shaved. I was looking for range shooters so I am fine with that.

this morning. I owned one other Mark 2 in the past, but this one's a little different - it's nickel plated. I just wanted to confirm my belief that,
