<p>Cadet rifles are usually converted to rounds like .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .256 Win Mag, or .357 Mag.  Larger, more powerful, rounds seem to work but are
limited by the size of the barrel shank and most are hard to load because the lever has to be held down to get the large round into the chamber.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>As I discussed in the cartridge section, I got seduced by a little Snider rook in .300 Rook.  Fits nicely with my JC Lord and Wilkinson Sporting. It is a
tiny little thing, but nicely made with engraving, hooked breach, nice wood, and horn tip. It is set up very much like my Wilkinson, but smaller.  No
maker&#39;s name anywhere, but british proofs.  It has an oval shaped barrel rather than a separate rib.  I dropped a .310 Cadet (much too big) round in it to

			<description><![CDATA[ On the Gunboard&#39;s forum some shooters from Australia reported using 4.5gr of Trailboss in the .310 cadet. I tried this load. With 1.08 in. long cases the
case was quite full and required compression to seat the bullet. Muzzle velocity was 850 fps and accurcy was excellent. Although at that low velocity anything
passed 100yd would have a lot of drop. I like 1200-1250 fps.

will need the screws to hold the Parker Hale 7A sight on the receiver, as well as the aperture that screws into the back. Anyone have any spares they&#39;d
care to sell? I will post an image of the rifle ASAP. Not pretty, but I am betting will stack them all in the same hole ...

			<title><![CDATA[ New Cadet rifle ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just received a BSA .310 Cadet today in unaltered condition.  It looks like it has never been disassembled; none of the screws are buggered and it is in
wonderful condition, never sanded or refinished.  It has matching numbers on the butt, receiver and barrel.  The buttstock is marked C.M.F.    N.S.W    serial
number    8 (odd symbol) 11.  The bore looks pristine.  When I lifted the ladder rear sight it still had some sort of storage grease under it.  I did not see
