			<description><![CDATA[ Just took delivery of this little gem.  Ok, a little dirty and worn, but in excellent overall shape with a beautiful bore.  She has a 25&quot; uncut barrel,
steel cadet style buttplate, military Enfield style rear barrel sight, BSA hooded front sight that flips from blade to aperture, and a BSA No. 8 tang sight. 
The barrel appears to be the standard target outer dimension.  The receiver is the earlier thin wall, Cadet type action.  Based on accounts I have heard, this

On reading about this rifle in the earlier thread I rang Bill Phelps &amp; was told it was sold. - but the guy bounced the cheque so I bought it this week

It is the same maker but straight stocked with a peculiar clip to hold down the lever. When the clip is pulled back with the hammer cocked, it auto-ejects!

I have owned a BSA .310 cadet for many years and have just now decided to shoot it. The barrel appears to be a replacement as there is no serial number.
However, upon examination it has been re-chambered to 32/20 by a previous owner. A .310 round will of course chamber, but the thinner rim creates excessive
headspace.

So my question is; if I were to use shortened 32/20 cases loaded with a heeled .310 bullet, which loading die-set should I buy... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ While experimenting around a bit with my recently aquired BSA cadet, I seated a .322 round ball (N0 1 buckshot) in the mouth of a 32-20 case which had been
trimmed to a length of 1.120.

This Cadet has the original chamber and a standard length 32-20 case will not fully enter.

Anyway,...my point is, in the area which the .322 ball occupied, the outer diameter of the case is .334 and extends down about .170 from the case mouth. I

			<description><![CDATA[ I recently purchased a very nice Cadet with a pristine bore. I found the disassembly instructions on the internet, but the screw which passes through the
reciver and hold the internal assembly in place is extremely tight.

By applying *much* force to the screw I was able to rotate it a bit less than 90 degrees and it hadn&#39;t broken free, so I stopped.

<p>Cadet rifles are usually converted to rounds like .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .256 Win Mag, or .357 Mag.  Larger, more powerful, rounds seem to work but are
limited by the size of the barrel shank and most are hard to load because the lever has to be held down to get the large round into the chamber.

			<description><![CDATA[ On the Gunboard&#39;s forum some shooters from Australia reported using 4.5gr of Trailboss in the .310 cadet. I tried this load. With 1.08 in. long cases the
case was quite full and required compression to seat the bullet. Muzzle velocity was 850 fps and accurcy was excellent. Although at that low velocity anything
passed 100yd would have a lot of drop. I like 1200-1250 fps.
