			<description><![CDATA[ I have located a cheap Snider-Enfield rifle.  It seems complete and in decent shape other than the forestock being partially burned away at some point.

1)Try and find a complete stock to replace with?

2)Fit some wood to replace the burned section?
<br>
3)Cut the stock and barrel back a bit and move the brass nose cap and front sight back to make something close to a Artillery or Constabulary carbine?

			<title><![CDATA[ Finally shot the AC short snider ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Well I finally finished repairing the stock and loading up some cut down 24 gauge rounds to shoot the old snider. It seems to shoot about minute of Fed Ex and
Dell Computer boxes at 100 yds with both the .600 Lee ball and the .575 Minie with Lee Alox over 55 grs of FFg. Here are some pre-shoot pictures.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>The first time to the range with my Snider Sporter was disappointing. The rifle is in good condition but has seen plenty of use. That is why it&#39;s not
firing a cartridge was surprising. The primers showed a very light hit. When I looked at it later, the dish in the hammer face hits the nipple holding the pin.
The firing pin depresses but not enough. The nipple has been filed down slightly but I&#39;d rather not go farther.  I could reface the hammer but if there is

rifles are smaller in diameter that the Brit. MHs. Does this also apply to the Nepal made Sniders compared to the Brit. made? I have yet to slug my bore and
the though just popped into my head so I thought I&#39;d ask.

			<description><![CDATA[ I just picked up a very nice Tabatiere shotgun at the N-SSA National Skirmish today. It is a typical Belgian sporter, but they didn&#39;t bob the barrel, so it
is a candidate for restoration to full infantry configuration if I ever undertake the project. The action is working and complete, though the firing pin keeper
screw is stripped and will need replacing. Lock works great, and the barrel is reasonably rust-free. Considering the bobbed off Zulu shotguns go for $125 with
